Originally a milliners warehouse, it was purchased in the early 80's by our father Giovanni Viventi, who traded as an antique furniture dealer for twenty-five years on the premises. As the area started to change dramatically the upper floors were converted into flats and sold while the ground floor and basement were kept and let to a restaurant.
The restaurant underwent a £700k fit out and is now regarded as the bar/restaurant on Bermondsey Street. The fit out is a mixture of contemporary and industrial styles, in keeping with this Victorian warehouse.
